An ISO 15 that travels freely is the usual definition of a glide path. This is the largest D-Finder MANI make, at 21 mm.

What MANI’s own tests show

› Stiffer than a K-file. In MANI’s bending test the D-Finder took more force to bend than a conventional K-file at #08 and #10 – roughly half as much again at #10.
› Harder to break. MANI state that in their ductility test "D Finders are 1.5 times more resistant to fracture than other path finding files".
› Resists buckling. MANI’s internal buckling test shows a higher maximum load than conventional K-files at #08, #10 and #15.

Questions

Is ISO 15 the top of the range?
Yes. MANI make D-Finders in 08, 10, 12 and 15 only – they are negotiation instruments, not shaping files. Once 15 is travelling freely, shaping is the next job.

What is the pack?
Six files, one size, one length. MANI's smallest available unit is 6 per pack, so a pack is a size rather than a kit.
