Making a Purchase
We aim to make purchasing from us as easy as possible. Once you have selected the items you require, please click the add to basket button on the page. At the end of your order select the Checkout option at the top of the screen. This will take you to a summary of your order and ask for the details regarding delivery and payment.
Payment and credit terms
UK and overseas customers may pay with credit card at the time of purchase When payment is being made by credit card you will be redirected to our secure Payment Service Provider's site. Once payment has been arranged you will be returned to our site.
Alternatively, UK account customers in good credit standing may pay on invoice. Payment of invoices are strictly net due by the 30th day following the date of invoice. Credit facilities may be withdrawn from customers without prior notice
Where goods are being delivered to a home address, we ask for payment at the time the order is placed
Interest may be charged on overdue balances at the rate of 2% per month accruing daily
Title of goods does not pass until full payment has been received in full.
Shipping and Handling
Our standard shipping fee within the United Kingdom is £4.95 and Free of Charge for orders greater than £250.00 + VAT. Carriage for other destinations which we supply will be charged at the rates shown.
Goods are sent out by Royal Mail Tracked 24® or by courier depending on their destination and value.

Goods supplied to overseas destinations may be subject to additional taxes and duties in the customer's country. These are the customer’s responsibility to settle at the time of importation.
We aim to hold inventory sufficient to allow us to despatch our most popular lines on the day we receive your order, However, the specialist nature of some our products means that some have to be specially ordered from our suppliers after we have received your order.
Items not currently in stock will be placed on back order.
Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to UK orders at the rate current at the time of delivery. Deliveries to other destinations may incur local taxes and duties on importation, which are the customers responsibility.
Credit Card Security
For your security and peace of mind credit card transactions are processed securely by an accredited Payments Service Provider. QED does not have access to your credit card details.
The terms of the manufacturers' warranties vary due to the specialist nature of our products. The warranty period will be shown in the documentation supplied with each piece of equipment.
In the unlikely event that a product is found to be faulty at the time of delivery. These will be replaced free of charge and the faulty product returned to the manufacturer.
Please note shortages and damaged goods must be reported within three working days of receipt. Damaged goods must be returned.
QED Ltd shall not be liable for any loss arising from the fact that the customer is not suitably qualified to use the goods supplied, which should be used in accordance the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

• Goods returned for exchange more than seven days after delivery may be accepted at our discretion and will incur a re-stocking fee of 20% of the value plus VAT.
