Mtwo 20/.06 – the basic sequence, at a 21 mm working part

VDW’s long-standing rotary file. VDW describe an “S-shaped cross-section with two active cutting edges” and a “Small instrument core for high flexibility” – the same S-section family as RECIPROC® blue and VDW.ROTATE™. Every instrument is taken to full working length rather than stepping back.

Questions we get asked

What does WP 21 mm mean?
The working part – how far the flutes run up from the tip. This one is 21 mm of cutting on a 25 mm instrument. A shorter working part gives you more shank, which helps in a posterior tooth with limited opening.

Should I be looking at VDW.ROTATE instead?
It is the newer file in the same S-section family, with a heat treatment VDW say lowers the risk of breakage, plus taper rings and radiopaque calibration rings on the handle. We stock both. Our suggestion for this size is below.
