Composition and Formulation

Blue Etch contains 36% o-phosphoric acid as the active etchant ingredient, mixed in a gel base with a blue dye for visual control during application Its thixotropic gel consistency means it flows when applied but coagulates immediately after placement, preventing run-off along narrow enamel edges and ensuring targeted etching

- Etching enamel and dentin before composite fillings or sealants

- Fissure and cavity preparation for improved adhesion
