How Dentsply Sirona run the sequence

1  Slider to the terminus. Passively, with lubricant; working length by apex locator and radiograph; confirm patency. If it does not easily reach, a small stainless hand file first, then the Slider again.

2  Irrigate, then the Shaper. Irrigation needle to the coronal two-thirds, then the Shaper along the Slidepath to working length. Irrigate and activate on removal.

3  F1, and read the flutes. Loaded with dentine at length: finished. Loose and clean: F2, then F3 the same way.

4  Finished when the cone agrees. The Finisher is loaded with debris and the corresponding gutta-percha point fits at working length. Disinfect, dry with matched points, fill.

Questions we get asked

Why buy the sequence rather than singles?
Because most cases start the same way and finish at one of three Finishers, and you do not know which until F1 has been read. One pack puts all five on the tray. Singles are linked above for topping up the size you use most.

Where are FX, FXL and SX?
Sold separately. FX and FXL are for larger, straighter canals only, in their own sequence; SX is an optional orifice opener. FX 31 mm · FXL 31 mm · SX 19 mm.
