A canal shaped by a variable-taper file wants a point cut to the same shape. These are Dentsply Sirona’s own absorbent points for ProTaper Next®, colour coded to the files and sold sterile. 90 X2 and 90 X3, 180 sterile points in the box.

›  Drying is a step, not an afterthought. The IFU’s own last step before obturation is to dry with dedicated paper points and fill with dedicated gutta percha points.

Questions we get asked

Will they fit a canal shaped by another system?
They are cut to the ProTaper Next® shapes and that is all Dentsply Sirona claim for them. Match the point to the file that made the shape rather than to the ISO number alone.

Are they sterile?
Yes – Dentsply Sirona describe the boxes as sterile, five points to a cell. The gutta percha carries no sterility claim, and we do not make one for it.

What about the assorted boxes?
Every box holds 180 points. The single-size boxes are 180 of one size; the assorted boxes are 90 and 90.
