Kohler’s double-ended ENDOBLACK mirror handle. A mirror at each end means two sizes live on one instrument, so the change of size does not mean a change of instrument.

Handle only – mirrors are not included. Kohler list this as “Mouth mirror handle, double ended (without mirror)”. Order your mirror heads separately.

Why black, and why it matters more for a mirror

A mirror handle sits in the light path by definition. Kohler rate a polished handle as giving an “extreme dazzling effect due to strong reflection”, sandblasting as “less dazzling, reduced reflection”, and the ENDOBLACK coating as the point where “reflection is reduced considerably, dazzling effect is lowered significantly.” Under a scope at high magnification that is the difference between seeing the canal and seeing your own instrument.
